Mandarin Orange Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can oranges, chopped, drain and save juice
    1/3 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 1/2 tsp. grated orange peel
    Cool Whip
    1/4 c. shredded coconut
    1 baked pie shell
Preparation
    Add enough water to reserved mandarin orange juice to equal 1 cup.
    Combine sugar, cornstarch and juice/water mixture.
    Cook over medium heat, stirring until thick.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in oranges and peel.
    Chill at least 1 hour.
    Fold in Cool Whip and pour into cooked pie shell.
    Sprinkle with toasted coconut.
