Squash Au Gratin - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. squash
    1/2 stick butter
    2 eggs
    1/3 c. grated cheese
    toasted bread crumbs
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Boil tender squash with a little onion.
    Cream well while warm.
    Add butter, cheese, eggs (beaten lightly) and 1 tablespoon bread crumbs to make light batter.
    Reserve a little of the bread crumbs and cheese.
    Put in casserole; cover with bread crumbs and the cheese.
    Bake.
