Cream Of Asparagus Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 8 c. cut asparagus
    4 or 5 scallions and tops
    3 ribs celery, chopped fine
    3 1/2 c. chicken stock
    salt to taste
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 crushed clove garlic
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    4 c. milk
Preparation
    Cut asparagus in about 1/2-inch pieces.
    Slice scallions thin and chop the tops.
    Add all ingredients except flour and milk to chicken stock.
    Simmer until tender.
    Mix flour in a little bit of the milk to make a smooth mix.
    When asparagus is tender, add milk and flour mix.
    Stir until soup comes to a boil.
    Lower heat and simmer a few minutes.
