Baked Corn Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. (1/2 stick) butter
    6 oz. (2 small pkg.) cream cheese, softened
    17 oz. (1 can) corn, whole kernel (drained)
    4 oz. (1 can) green chilies, chopped
    1 c. onion, chopped
    16 oz. (1 can) French fried onions, divided
Preparation
    In a large bowl, beat together, butter and cream cheese. Stir in corn, chilies, and onions; mixing well.
    Pour into a greased 8x8-inch baking dish.
