Ingredients

1 c. Crisco
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 small can flaked coconut
1 Tbsp. coconut flavoring
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
5 eggs
1 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Cream Crisco and sugar; add eggs, one at a time.
Sift dry ingredients together.
Add alternately with buttermilk and flavoring.
Remove beater and fold in coconut.
Bake in a greased and floured angel cake pan (tube pan) for 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
