Pumpkin Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 2/3 c. sugar
4 eggs
2/3 c. water
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. baking powder
2/3 c. raisins
2/3 c. Crisco
1 (16 oz.) pumpkin
3 1/3 c. all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ground cloves
2/3 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Cream sugar and shortening until fluffy.
Stir in eggs, pumpkin and water.
Mix well.
Blend in dry ingredients, except nuts and raisins.
Mix well.
Add nuts and raisins.
Stir well. Pour into two greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 65 to 75 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
Cool in pans and cool on racks.
Great with cream cheese.
