1-2-3-4 Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    2 c. sugar
    3 c. flour
    4 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla flavor
    1 c. milk`
Preparation
    Cream butter.
    Add sugar gradually, beating after each addition until creamy.
    Add eggs, one at a time.
    Beat after each egg.
    Add half of flour and milk.
    Continue beating; add flavor and balance of flour.
    Beat at least 3 minutes more.
    Pour in layer cake pan.
    Ice as desired.
