Stuffed Green Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. instant rice
    1 egg, beaten
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 tsp. seasoned pepper
    3 large green peppers, cut in half lengthwise
    1/3 c. water
    1 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Mix together the meat, rice, egg, onion, 1/2 cup tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper.
    Arrange green pepper halves in an 11 3/4 x 1 3/4-inch baking dish.
    Fill peppers with meat mixture.
    Mix together the remaining tomato sauce, water and sugar; pour over green peppers.
    Cover with tight fitting lid or plastic wrap.
    Microwave on Medium-high (70%) for 20 to 25 minutes, or until meat is no longer pink and green peppers are tender.
    Allow to stand 5 minutes before serving.
    Yields 4 to 6 servings.
