Shortbread Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. butter or margarine
    1 c. sugar
    4 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Sift flour 4 times.
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add flour a little at a time.
    Roll out dough to 1/2-inch thick and cut into 1-inch squares.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
