Breakfast Sausage Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. sausage
8 slices bread
4 eggs
1 can cream of mushroom soup
2-1/2 to 3 c. milk
1-1/2 c. mild Cheddar cheese, shredded
1 tsp. basil leaves
1 lg. jar mushrooms
Preparation

Brown crumbled sausage.
Crumble bread in 9 x 13 pan and put drained sausage over bread.
Layer cheese.
Beat eggs, soup and milk.
Add basil leaves and pour over bread, sausage and cheese. Drain mushrooms and put on top.
Cover and refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes.
