Mexican Noodle Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. macaroni noodles
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
    1 (8 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
    1 c. small curd cottage cheese
    1 c. sour cream
    1 (4 oz.) Cheddar cheese
    hot or mild taco sauce, heated
    1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chilies
Preparation
    Cook noodles; rinse and drain. Brown the ground beef and drain well. Add the taco seasoning mix. Stir in the tomatoes and simmer for 10 minutes or until the liquid is almost gone. Gently mix the noodles with the cottage cheese, sour cream and green chilies. In a greased 2-quart casserole, layer the noodle mixture with the meat, then cheese. Repeat until used. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes or until cheese melts and browns.
