Creamy Corn Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 slices bacon, diced
    1 medium onion
    2 medium potatoes, pared and diced
    2 cans creamed corn
    1 1/2 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. sugar
    1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Saute bacon and onion until golden brown.
    Add potatoes and 3/4 cup water.
    Bring to boil.
    Boil gently, covered, for about 10 minutes, or until potatoes are tender but not mushy.
    Add corn, milk, butter, salt, sugar and pepper.
    Simmer, covered, for 10 minutes, or until hot.
    Freezes well.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
