Chocolate Crackles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 sq. unsweetened chocolate, melted
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
dash of salt
1/4 c. nuts (optional)
Preparation

Mix the first 5 ingredients and beat well. Add the flour sifted with the baking powder and dash of salt.
Stir in the nuts (optional).
Chill and roll into balls. Roll in powdered sugar. Bake 8 minutes at 350\u00b0.
