Picante Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. ripe tomatoes, peeled and chopped (approximately 20 large tomatoes)
    1 bottle catsup or 2 large cans tomato sauce
    1 large onion, chopped
    4 cloves garlic
    1/4 c. non-iodized salt
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1 large can chopped chilies
    6 to 12 jalapenos
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients.
    Bring to a boil and simmer 30 to 40 minutes.
    Put in jars and seal.
    Can add seasoned salt if desired or 5 good shakes of Tabasco sauce.
