Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
2 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. flour
3 eggs, beaten
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 dash nutmeg (optional)
1 (9-inch) unbaked pastry shell
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add flour and eggs; beat well.
Add buttermilk, vanilla and dash of nutmeg, if desired.
Bake in 1 (9-inch) unbaked pastry.
