Banana-Date-Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 stick margarine
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
3 very ripe bananas, mashed
2 c. plain flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 c. chopped nuts
12 dates, chopped
Preparation

Preheat oven to 300\u00b0.
Cream margarine and sugar.
Add eggs. Mix well.
Stir in bananas.
Add flour, salt and soda.
Mix well. Stir in nuts and dates.
Pour into greased, wax paper-lined 9 5/8 x 5 1/2 x 2 3/4-inch pan and let stand for 15 minutes.
Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Let cool in pan on rack for 10 minutes. Turn out on rack to finish cooling.
