Linguine And Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium onion, chopped
    3 small garlic cloves, minced
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 (14 oz.) can stewed tomatoes (undrained), chopped
    1 Tbsp. dried whole basil
    3/4 tsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. dried oregano
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. heavy cream
    1 Tbsp. butter
    8 oz. linguine
    Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Saute onion and garlic in oil over medium heat.
    Add tomatoes, basil, sugar, oregano, salt and pepper.
    Bring to a boil for 5 minutes.
    Stir in cream and butter.
    Reduce heat and simmer.
    Toss with cooked linguine.
    Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
