Pork Chops And Potatoes In Skillet - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 pork chops
    4 medium potatoes (raw), peeled and sliced
    1 can cream of mushroom soup (Campbell's)
    1 1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Trim fat from chops; brown chops in skillet for 10 minutes on each side.
    Remove chops from skillet.
    Deglaze pan with 1 1/2 cups hot water.
    Add mushroom soup; stir.
    Add chopped onion.
    Add sliced potatoes; stir.
    Place pork chops on top.
    Cover; simmer for approximately 45 minutes, until potatoes are done.
    (Stir occasionally, adding water as necessary.
    Leave chops on top.) Serve.
    Add salt and pepper, if desired.
