Chocolate Kraut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. krispy kraut
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2/3 c. butter or shortening
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    3 eggs
    1 1/4 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. cocoa
    1 c. water
    1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Grease and flour Bundt cake pan. Drain, rinse and chop kraut.
    In a large mixing bowl, sift dry ingredients and set aside.
    Cream butter, sugar and eggs.
    Add vanilla, salt and cocoa; mix well. Alternately add flour mixture and water. Add kraut and mix well.
    Bake for 45 to 50 minutes. Spread cherry pie filling over top after cool.
