Ole-Time Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter, softened
3 c. sugar
6 eggs
3 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 (8 oz.) sour cream
2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. mace
Preparation

Cream butter; gradually add sugar, beating well.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Combine flour, soda and salt; add to creamed mixture.
Alternate with sour cream; begin and end with flour.
Stir in mace and vanilla.
Pour into greased and floured tube pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours, until separated from sides of pan.
Cool 10 minutes.
Remove from pan.
