24 Hour Omelet - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 slices white bread
    3/4 lb. American or Cheddar cheese, grated
    2 c. cooked ham or sausage, chopped
    8 eggs
    3/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 tsp. dry mustard
    dash of pepper
    2 1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Trim crusts from bread.
    Butter one side.
    Cut bread into 1-inch cubes.
    Place buttered side up in a 9 x 13-inch glass dish. Beat together milk, eggs, salt, pepper and mustard.
    Pour over bread.
    Add meat.
    Top with cheese.
    Cover with foil and refrigerate overnight.
    Bake, covered, at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours, uncovering the last 10 minutes.
