Congo Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box brown sugar
    1 stick oleo
    1/4 c. Crisco
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 2/3 c. self-rising flour
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 pkg. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Cream the sugar and oleo.
    Add Crisco; cream.
    Add eggs; beat. Add flour; blend well.
    Add nuts, chips and vanilla.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until firm around side of pan, but soft in center and golden brown.
    Use a 9 x 13-inch or similar pan.
