Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 stick margarine
3/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1 1/4 c. plus 2 Tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 Tbsp. sugar, combined with 1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Put into a big bowl and mix margarine, sugar and egg.
Put into another bowl flour, baking soda, salt and cream of tartar. Add flour mixture to first bowl.
Mix well.
Dough should be soft and easy to handle.
Add 1 tablespoon of flour if dough is too sticky.
Combine in a small dish and set aside sugar-cinnamon combination.
Roll dough into balls the size of a walnut.
Roll in sugar-cinnamon mixture.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes at 400\u00b0.
Cookies should be soft and puffy.
Cool on rack.
Makes 3 dozen.
