Meringue - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg whites
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. cornstarch
Preparation
    Beat egg whites stiff, but not dry.
    Add cream of tartar. Gradually add sugar into which the cornstarch has been mixed. Beat until stiff and shiny.
    Pile on pie.
    Bake about 10 minutes at 350\u00b0 or until light brown.
