Belgium Meat Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    2 Tbsp. chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. chopped green pepper
    1/4 c. meal
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. milk
    1 egg
    1/4 c. shortening
    1/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. chili powder
    1 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. canned tomatoes
Preparation
    Combine ground beef, onion, green pepper, meal, seasonings, milk and egg; blend well.
    Form into 12 to 20 balls.
    Roll in flour.
    Brown in hot shortening.
    Add remaining flour to tomatoes and pour over meat balls.
    Cover and bake in 450\u00b0 oven for 35 to 45 minutes.
