Country Chicken - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
salt and pepper to taste
1 fryer, cut up
1 c. raw long grain rice
2 1/2 c. water
1 (1 1/4 oz.) pkg. dry onion soup mix
Preparation

Melt butter in a deep, flat dish. Salt and pepper the chicken lightly; roll in the melted butter and arrange in a single layer in the dish. Sprinkle rice over chicken and add water slowly; sprinkle onion soup mix over rice. Cover tightly and bake a 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
