Tofu Dip Or No-Egg Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. tofu
    1 medium onion, chopped
    season to taste with salt or tamari sauce, mustard, vinegar and/or lemon juice
    mayonnaise, no egg mayonnaise or tahini (sesame butter)
    choice of basil, chives, oregano, garlic powder or pepper
Preparation
    Mash tofu to cottage cheese consistency.
    Add seasonings, being sure to include the three \"S's\" (something salty; something sour; something sticky) to bind the mixture.
    Mix in chopped onion.
    Dip in ready to eat, or let sit for stronger flavor.
