Southern Fried Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    chicken, broiler or fryer
    flour, salt and pepper
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 c. milk
    fine cracker crumbs, sifted
Preparation
    Cut chicken in halves, lengthwise.
    Wash, drain and roll at once in flour, seasoned with salt and pepper.
    Dip in combined eggs and milk and roll in cracker crumbs.
    Heat shortening and dry.
    Drain on absorbent paper.
    Temperature is 385\u00b0.
    Time:
    15 to 20 minutes.
