Grandma'S Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. chopped onion
1 green pepper, cut in strips
2 Tbsp. butter
1 1/2 lb. lean ground chuck
1 tsp. seasoned salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 (1 lb. 12 oz.) can tomatoes
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
2 c. water
8 oz. wide noodles
8 oz. Mozzarella cheese, sliced
Preparation

Saute onion and green pepper in butter in Dutch oven for 3 minutes.
Add meat; brown, breaking up as it cooks.
Add seasonings.
Stir in tomatoes, sauce and water.
Heat to boiling; reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes.
Layer tomato meat mixture in 13 x 9-inch pan with cooked noodles.
Make sure noodles are well covered with sauce.
Top with sliced Mozzarella cheese.
Cover with aluminum foil and bake.
Cut and serve like lasagna.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 60 minutes.
May be made night before, refrigerated and baked when needed.
