Clam Seasoned Pilaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium onion, chopped
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    2-7 oz. cans clams
    Water
    1 1/2 c. canned tomatoes
    1 c. uncooked rice
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Saute onions in margarine and olive oil.
    Drain clams.\tAdd water to make 1 1/2 cup liquid.
    Combine all ingredients.
    Simmer, covered for about 25 minutes or until rice is done.
    Serves 6-8.
