Hot Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    16 c. ripe tomatoes
    4 c. sliced onions
    1 c. hot peppers
    2 1/2 c. vinegar
    1 c. sugar
    1/3 c. salt
    3 Tbsp. garlic salt
    2 Tbsp. chili powder
    2 tsp. black pepper
    2 tsp. cumin
    1 tsp. alum
Preparation
    Boil 15 to 30 minutes.
    Makes 9 pints.
