Harvard Beets - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. butter
    1/4 c. water
    2 tsp. flour
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix
    sugar
    and flour.\tAdd vinegar and water.\tCook in double boiler
    until
    thick.
    Add butter and salt.
    Pour over beets that have been sliced and cooked tender.
