Grandma'S Cherry Surprise Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. vegetable oil
1 1/2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour (plain)
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 can cherry pie filling

Preparation

Mix oil and 1 cup sugar thoroughly.
Add eggs, one at a time; beat until fluffy.
Add vanilla.
Sift flour and baking powder. Add to liquid and beat.
Mix remaining 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon for topping.
