Sour Cream White Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. sour cream
    1/3 c. white corn syrup
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. nuts
Preparation
    Combine first 5 ingredients.
    Bring slowly to a boil, stirring until sugar melts.
    Do not boil anymore, but cook slowly to 236\u00b0 or to a soft ball stage.
    Let stand 15 minutes, then add vanilla and nuts.
    Beat until mixture loses its gloss and pour into lightly buttered 8 x 8-inch pan.
    Score warm, then cut into squares when cooled.
