Strawberry Buttermilk Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    2 c. buttermilk
    1 large (15 oz.) Cool Whip
    1 c. nuts, chopped
Preparation
    Mix pineapple and jello.
    Heat over medium heat until jello is dissolved.
    Cool.
    Add buttermilk and chopped nuts.
    Refrigerate until it begins to thicken, then add Cool Whip.
    Refrigerate until thick.
