Potato Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 c. mashed cold potatoes
1 egg
3 Tbsp. flour
salt and pepper to taste
chopped onion (optional)

Preparation

Mix well all ingredients.
Pat out in flat patties and fry in a mixture of butter and shortening.
