Mississippi Mud Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. strong coffee
    1/4 c. dark rum or light
    5 (1 oz.) sq. unsweetened chocolate
    1 c. butter
    2 eggs
    2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/8 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Place coffee and rum in saucepan and heat to a simmer.
    Add the chocolate and butter.
    Cook, stirring occasionally until both are melted.
    Remove from heat.
    In a large bowl, beat eggs. Gradually beat in sugar until mixture is thick.
    Beat in vanilla and the chocolate mixture.
    Turn batter into greased and floured tube pan.
    Bake in 275\u00b0 oven for 1 to 1 1/2 hours or until cake tests done.
    Transfer to rack to cool.
