Taffy Apple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1 egg
    1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple (reserve juice)
    4 c. Red Delicious apples, chopped
    1 c. salted peanuts
    1 (8 oz.) carton Cool Whip
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
Preparation
    Combine flour and sugar; mix. Beat egg and add to flour and sugar mixture. Add vinegar and reserved pineapple juice.
    Cook and stir in 1 1/2 or 2-quart saucepan on low heat until thick, 3 to 5 minutes. Cool.
