Cajun Crock-Pot Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. leftover ham, chopped
    1 medium cabbage, sliced
    2 onions, sliced
    3 Irish potatoes, sliced
    parsley
    bay leaf
    salt and pepper
    melted butter
    1 can tomato bits
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Layer cabbage, potatoes and onions.
    Add salt and pepper lightly because ham will have some salt.
    Sprinkle a few flakes of parsley and bay leaf.
    Drizzle with melted butter, then layer with ham.
    Repeat.
    Make several holes through casserole.
    Pour tomato bits and water.
    Cover and simmer several hours until vegetables are tender.
