Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 to 3 lb. yellow squash
    1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1/4 c. butter
    1 medium onion, finely chopped
    1/2 c. sour cream
    15 to 20 c. Ritz crackers
Preparation
    Cook squash with onion until tender.
    Drain well.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
    Mix 1/4 cup Cheddar and sour cream.
    Pour into casserole.
    Top with crumbled Ritz crackers mixed with 3/4 cup cheese.
    Dot with butter.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 until brown, 20 to 25 minutes.
