Gourmet Style Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 round steak (1/2-inch thick)
    1 clove garlic
    1/4 c. flour
    2 Tbsp. paprika
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/4 c. shortening
    1/4 c. sliced onions
    1 (3 oz.) can mushrooms, drained
    1/2 c. sour cream
Preparation
    Cut steak into 4 pieces; rub each piece on both sides with cut garlic clove.
    Combine flour, paprika, salt and pepper; pound into steak.
    Brown meat in hot shortening.
    Top with onions and mushrooms.
    Cover and cook over low heat until tender, about 2 hours.
    Add more liquid, if needed.
    Remove steak to platter. Spoon excess fat from liquid in pan; add sour cream.
    If too thick, dilute with 1/2 cup water or bouillon.
    Heat and serve sauce over meat.
