Southern Spoon Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. white cornmeal
    2 1/2 c. water
    1 1/2 Tbsp. butter, melted
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    2 egg yolks, lightly beaten
    1/2 c. buttermilk
    2 egg whites, beaten stiff
Preparation
    Add cornmeal gradually to boiling water and let stand for a few minutes.
    Add butter, salt and yolks; add buttermilk.
    Fold in egg whites.
    Turn into a buttered casserole dish.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
