Old Timey Chocolate Fudge - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
5 oz. can Carnation milk
1 Tbsp. corn syrup
1 stick butter
1 Tbsp. water
4 Tbsp. cocoa
Preparation

In a heavy saucepan, mix the sugar and cocoa together.
Add the rest of the ingredients and cook on low heat until the sugar melts and the mixture is smooth.
Turn up the heat to medium-high and cook until it reaches a soft-ball stage.
Remove from heat and beat with a WOODEN spoon over a pan of cold water until the mixture loses its gloss and thickens.
Pour into a lightly buttered dish.
