Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. yeast
    3 Tbsp. lukewarm water
    1 c. shortening
    3 c. buttermilk
    5 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    3 tsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in water in a small bowl.
    Sift all ingredients together in a large bowl.
    Cut in shortening; add buttermilk, then yeast mix.
    Stir until thoroughly moistened.
    Knead a minute or two.
    Roll out to desired thickness.
    Cut into rounds.
    Brush with melted butter and bake on an ungreased pan at 400\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
    Dough may be refrigerated until ready to use.
    It will keep for several days.
