Buttermilk Pancakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs, beaten
    2 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. soda
    2 1/4 c. sifted flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. sugar
    1/4 c. shortening, melted
Preparation
    Combine eggs, buttermilk and soda.
    Sift flour, baking powder, salt and sugar together.
    Add flour mixture and shortening to buttermilk mixture.
    Drop batter by spoonfuls onto hot griddle or heavy iron skillet.
    Cook until brown on both sides.
    Serve hot.
