Banana Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 overripe bananas (4 if small)
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/4 c. melted butter
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    small amount of chopped nuts or boiled raisins (optional)
Preparation
    Mash bananas with fork.
    Stir in other ingredients.
    Pour into a greased 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/2-inch loaf pan.
    Bake 1 hour in preheated 325\u00b0 oven.
