Chocolate Chip Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. softened shortening
3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 tsp. salt
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
3/4 c. white sugar
1/2 tsp. water
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. chopped nuts

Preparation

Beat shortening, sugar, vanilla, water and eggs until light and fluffy.
Mix flour with soda and salt.
Blend into shortening mixture.
Stir in nuts and chips.
Drop by teaspoonfuls on cookie sheet and bake.
