Peachy Ham Slice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 ham slice
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. (8 fluid oz.) water
    1/2 c. (3 1/2 oz.) sugar
    4 Tbsp. currant jelly
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 1/2 tsp. grated lemon peel
    4 peaches
Preparation
    Gently saute ham in butter.
    In a saucepan, combine water, sugar, jelly, lemon juice and lemon peel.
    Cover and simmer for 5 minutes.
    Peel, half and pit peaches and place cut side down in sauce.
    Cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
    Turn and cook 5 more minutes.
    To serve, place ham on platter and garnish with peaches and sauce.
