Sunday Morning Raisin Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. orange juice
    1 c. raisins
    4 Tbsp. butter
    1 Tbsp. grated orange rind
    2 large eggs (at room temperature)
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Heat the oven to 325\u00b0.
    Lightly butter a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan. Heat the orange juice until it is almost boiling.
    Put the raisins, butter and orange rind in a bowl and pour the orange juice over them.
    Set aside to cool in another bowl.
    Beat the eggs with the sugar.
    Add the vanilla; stir into the raisin mixture in another bowl.
    Sift together the flour, baking powder, soda and salt; add to the raisin mixture.
    Stir just until moistened.
    Fold in the walnuts.
    Lightly spoon the batter into the loaf pan.
