Ingredients

1 lb. brown sugar
12 Tbsp. flour
2 c. cream
2 c. water
4 egg yolks, slightly beaten
1 stick margarine
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix dry ingredients in double boiler.
Add other ingredients except vanilla.
Stir constantly until thickened.
Take off heat and add vanilla.
Mix well.
Pour in already baked pie shells. Top with meringue.
Makes 2 pies.
